hello,
first excuse me for mx bad english
I own volvo 480es now almost for a year and ever since it has bad idle (from 1200rpm down to 800rpm and sometimes it die). I have already change the temperature sensor, clean idle contro, valve and clean throttle valve housing.
When i s cold it start up whit no problem, but when its hot I need to presse gas to the end. I have changed the original air filter whit sport one, becouse whit this modification I improve my bad hot start.
I think that the injectors are bad. now my car runs on siemens deka 3823, but I cant find replacement. Are they any others injectors I can put in (BOSCH?)?, or do you think something else is wrong.
Greetings from Slovenia Matic

Still looking for an anser. Nobody knows?

Well, if I was you I would take up Jim's kind offer first of all.
Next, having had similar problems with my own car, I'd suggest you post a picture of the engine bay here, so that we can do a visual check on the items that sometimes cause this problem.
Can you do that?
Martin

I alredy talk to Jim, but those injectors will not work in my car.
I cant post any pictures ("your post looks too spamy for a new user, plese remove the off-site URLs").
Today I saw that on my engine plate is written B18EP 115 and not B18F 106. So does this make any difference??
I have remove the catalytic converter (Is that OK??) and my car has a lambda sensor.
There was nothing different before I remove catalytic converter (I think that it is not a problem).
Still dont know what to do.

So I changed everything also the injectors, but the problme is still here. I suspect that something is wrong whit motor head. Is it possible that the intake valve is burned and it doesn`t seal any more? Also one of the old injectors was very burned and full of soot.
Any ideas?
Are stuff for rebuilding head still available and where can I get it??
