Funny vibratey noises?

Post by random_monkey » Sun Oct 15, 2006 9:37 pm

Since I've started driving on the A50, I've been able to let rip a bit

About a month ago, I noticed my car vibrated at around 90mph (the dash, everything) and it sounded rather horrid... if I went up to 100, it settled out OK and everything

But then about a week ago I noticed it had started doing it at 80 (And settled out at 90)

I'm just a bit concerned that my engine is slowly buggering itself, and that it knackers itself up to be doing it at idle-time, or something
I don't know

Any ideas what it might be, and if it will get any worse? - or anything? :)

Wheel balance

My 91ES used to do the same between 60-70, was fine at any other speed, had the wheels balanced and all was fine

But saying that my mondeo did the same and that was a ball joint

wheel vibration is going to affect a poor condition ball joint. It may be best to check the ball joint as well.
