fix to boost problem

Post by aibast » Wed Dec 13, 2006 3:39 pm

Ok, I had a interesting problem here. My car didn't boost up or if it did, it just hit the boost limiter. So took of the solenoids connector cleaned it oust still sthe same problem. Finaly took a look at the actuator rod. It was realy realy suti and didn't move at all. The after some force to it. Went in to the actuator. So solution presented it self. It had rusted stuck. It wastegate was open or if it did close, then it tayed like that and the turbo overboosted. So some dromps of motoroil and things started moving like new again - and no more boost problem :D
