Yup as above, they will bend a bit as they are mounted on a metal sheet. Just re-bend the old ones flat!

I've got one if you want to come to plymouth and remove it from the car. Its the type with the green dipstick that don't leak as much oil. Its from a 94 L reg.

Speedo reads 64,000 ish but it is a 480 so speedo may have been changed at some point, ran nice last time i had it going.....

My handbrake is the same, my garage has been saying I need new cables for a couple o years now, when it comes to MOT time, he adjusts it so that the handbrakes work and then they gradually fade over the year. Only a bodge really but saves buying and fitting new cables...

Hello L8ERS! If you're looking for a cheap 480 with leather that runs well give me a bing, I am hopefully buying a S40 from Volcare soon so it will be up for grabs - its had over 3k spent on it, most of it apart from the engine is new and it will come with an optional spares car too in same colour! ...

I would imagine that the stuff itself, in the can is totally legal. As soon as you spray it on your number plates it would not be legal to drive the car on public higways.... If they found out, you could always claim that it must have been put on by one of the previous owners or local anti-speeding ...

I ended up buying a 480 (driveable) with the seats still in it. People and scrappies were quoting me £175+ inc delivery for the seats alone. I got lucky on the forum when a member advertised a car for parts, making no mention of its perfect Jaquard Half Leather, i emailed to ask if it had leather,...

Hehehe I felt the same way for ages, don't forget tho 480's always break every month around pay-day and the 2.0i lump is inherently more reliable than the turbo. You could always go the superchip (google it) route. I think its about £260 and it gives you +8HP!!! WoW! Also its not all about HP. A lo...

Use optimax or some other high octane fuel, and then drive it really fast all the time, the computer should realise you are a mentalist running on higher fuel and give you some more power. Does the ECU need to be reset first o wiser ones?

I did the above and it seemed faster.
