Hi Jim, I'm not sure... Just after the electronic mechanism from a passenger (uk) door. I haven't actually removed one before but am planning on fitting it to the drivers door to connect to an alarm, so whatever bits it needs to mechanically connect up would be needed. I'm not sure what else is diff...

You shouldn't need to remove the caliper to change the driveshaft. I suggest grinding off the stub axle > suspension strut bolts. This will be easy and is quite a satisfying fix! The sides of the stub axle are machined flat. Its fairly obvious to see when the bolt has had enough grinding. Not sure w...

WANTED: Black stripe tape
Hi, does anyone have the black stripes that go around the car, on the bumpers and side panels?
I think I saw someone advertise one a while back.
Thanks,
pol

Well I have replaced the starter motor (now working and sounding like a new car), and have opted to not replace 2 of the 3 'heatshields' as they are in such an akward position. I'd rather have access to my starter motor and don't think the heat will be able to do much damage to it. I have left the d...

Alternative heat shields?
Hi, I have had the unfortunate task of removing my starter motor today. I forgot how much of an arse it it to remove all the little heat shields. Not very user friendly at all! I dont really want to put them back on! I was thinking I could just wrap the downpipe in some sort of insulating material. ...
