Hello, thank for the replies! 480_rocket, if you mean by "terminals of the fuel pump" the connector that goes to the fuelpump(4 wires in the connector), there is coming NO power.. So, it seems like an electrical problem.. :) (hopefully, as a new fuel pump is worth about 300euros from Volvo!) I´ve...

Engine not starting-fuel ok-infocentre says there is not
Hello, My 2.0l Volvo 480gt -94 has been parked for about 3months(restoring the interior) but few days ago I wanted to drive it into the garage but it wouldn´t start. I remember there was plenty of fuel when I stopped driving it in the spring, but now the infocenter showed: FUEL, one bar. I filled...

Hello Daniël! I had both bumpers of the particular colour resprayed 2 years ago, down from the bumper stripes and where they end they made a gradual transition to the original paint. I consider myself as a hard customer but was in the end really happy with the result. In certain light the colour ...

Some alloy refurbishment "googling" a while ago made me think UK is the place to fix alloy wheels!? Haven´t found such companys in Finland yet..search continues :) Anyhow, what I read on different car forums is that some people had bad experiences with powdercoating if the sandblasting was too ro...

Check this out: http://www.svenska480klubben.com/bakljusrenovering.html It´s from the Swedish 480 club and text is in swedish, but basically: -sand the rear clusters with 800-1200 wet sandpaper -degrease clusters -apply clear plastic primer(3 thin layers) -apply 2-component clear lacquer(max 3 la...

I'm quite tempted to go the 205/X, but I'd like some more pros or cons first. Anton, do you have any better picture(s) of these tyres fitted when you had them? The picture I found during search doesn't give them much justice! Two pictures: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/Anton_K/DSC00017.jpg ...

Hello Darren, I´ll be soon in the same situation when getting some nice cruising tyres for my 15" wheels. I remember 195/55(on Taurus wheels) handling well and being still comfortable, when 195/50(on Cetus) made slightly more noise and rattles in the car. Also made a test, fitting bigger than nor...
