got the goodyear nct5 all round on mine at the moment, nothing special really they do the job, just don't push it, especially in the wet!

for some reason my number 1 in the top 25 is can't wait by hepcat, which i have only listened to a few times!
i was expecting something by king crimson, because i seem to listen to them almost permanantly, they never even got in to the top 25!

agreed, i would do the clutch if i had the engine out anyway, its suposed to be a royal pain in the arse whilst the engine is in situ.

they have character, but most cars with character come with problems, like shite quality interior plastics.

when you clay the car, you lubricate the area you are working on with the detailing spray, then once done you just dry it off with a microfibre cloth. after that you are ready for applying wax again. and also the quick detailing spray you use for the clay can also be used to keep the finish good bet...

as said above, you clay the car after washing and drying, it will remove imperfections in the paint, including removing wax/polish, leaving you with a very smooth and wax free finish to start on. i joined a car detailing forum http://www.detailingworld.co.uk and did a bit of research prior to doing ...

finally done!! its taken 6 hours :lol: ended up having to take the clutch pedal off, remove the cable bracket from the top, attach the cable to the bracket, reattach the clutch pedal and then rejoin the pedal and bracket (which was damn hard! why the hellm isn't there a captive nut on the pedal inst...

it took me a good few hours, basically you need to remove the carpets either side of the console, remove the gearstick gaiter and the cubby holes and ashtray to access the screws to remove the centre console, you will find it easier to get the centre console out if you also remove the armrest. if yo...

well the old cable came out in about 10 seconds.. the new one is a different story!
still not there yet, just trying to get the inner cable in place on the pedal which is a nightmare! hbol says simply hook it, yeah right!
hopefully done soon.

i am just about to go and pick up the new cable.
something tells me i am not going to enjoy this job at all, oh well, after changing the heater matrix i am used to laying on the floor breaking my back, with no visibility of the task
