You'd be lucky; as far as I know only 12 White RHD Aeros were ever made!

:D Yep, build quality is amazing really. I heard that the 9000 is one of the reasons that Saab were bought out by GM- because they took so long to make each one, 72 hours is a figure that I seem to recall. Handling-wise, you can tighten things up a lot by doing the front rear wishbone bushes...

Hmm, you seem to have gone through many of the usual suspects. Tomorrow I removed engine temp sensor above spart 1 and clean then put back. Who are you, Dr Who or something? ;) I know this isn't likely, but could it be anything to do with the fuel ECU? If it was somehow stuck in startup mode, when a...

Why not pull the boost ecu out from behind the centre console carpet and see if it has any markings or logo on it....you might be lucky enough to have a rare chip!

Probably not but worth checking.

Good man, that's commitment for you! If you are going the rebuild route, why not get them to strengthen / shot peen relevant parts? Insurance for extra power. I don't know which parts as I don't know anything about rebuilds/boxes really. I just noticed that the Saab guys with their modded 350hp+ Aer...

I am getting withdrawal symptoms now. It has been 3 weeks since I drove mine, with a good possibility that this will be my last day of ownership. I miss the sheer fun of it, the darting, weaving, twisting and turning. The irresistable urge to move onward that the car gives me. With a Rich mod the ca...

I don't know, how much weaker can it be? From the factory the power/torque difference between 2.0 and Turbo is only 10Nm/10 bhp, though I cant remember at what rpm etc. The 2.0 clutch plate is 208mm or 210, again, bigger than the original Turbo cluch and only slightly smaller than the late turbo one...

I know that this is cliched etc but Toyo Proxes are quite cheap and will help you plant the extra torque on the tarmac where it belongs.

I loved them on my car.

:( Sorry to hear that Owen. I wonder if a 2 litre box would fit, might be easier to find, suppose the ratios are different but need to see them on paper. At least the 'Max won't financially cripple you to fit another one. The "wrong" oil could be the culprit, or maybe the Rich mod and your right foo...

Hey Paul, glad to hear that you're loving the ECU! It is great when you're used to a standard 480T. Richard did a great job, I wish he was around more.... I was really enjoying the Saab- very quick (0-60 in under 7 secs) but with the ability to carry mountains of gear in the back.
