Really good Wheel/tyre calculator!

Saw a link to this on one of the Saab forums- worth trying out!
Especially if you are wondering if a cool set of aftermarket alloys will really work on your 480......

Paul, there's a lot already written on this if you trawl the archives.... A genuine Volvo clutch is stronger than a lot of others. Techniclutch may offer an uprated one- they did advertise them on Ebay a year or so ago. They could probably still sort one out for you. But with a normal Rich mod, a st...

Ha, beaten to it!! The CEM is behind the left hand side passenger footwell panel. If you have your Phillips screwdriver that comes with the Volvo toolkit then you'll get it out fairly easily. Take off the side panel, then by reaching uwards into the recess you should see a black box. As yours ...

Paul, what's actually happening? If the flashers don't blink or are not coming on at all then it could be the CEM. The relays inside can stick, the good news is that they can often be sorted out.

But I'm sure you'll get more help if you tell us what's going on with it.

I still like the forum and don't have any plans to stop visiting. I do wish I could have kept my 480 but change has to happen sometimes. Luckily I find that my Saab has a character if its own, if it hadn't I'd be missing the 480 a lot more than I am (which is a bit). Ditto Ben Harris about attending...

Well there's a simple solution- don't do any of that crap. I don't.
Just be nice to those you know who deserve it. Why be a hypocrite because it's Christmas?

Ross, I have a spare recirc valve you can test if you want to.
Yep, don't get a dump (to atmosphere) valve if you own a 480 Turbo- messes things up!

Here's the legendary VAG valve if you want to get one.

These fucking twats are simply incredible, I cannot believe that their self-absorbtion and contempt for others could be so complete and total. Never mind high insurance costs, hope he gets the fucking book thrown at him!! :...

Your engine won't overheat due to a few days sitting still.

Check your coolant level first. If it has gone down or is empty then at least you know that that's the problem!

Then follow Owen's advice and top it up with a 50/50 mixture of water/antifreeze, and look for leaks.
