Did you already try searching with google? Since the current search engine on this site misses a lot of information.

Re: Turbos, the very first ones (where are they? - part 2)
Which country/ language catalogue is it?
The 1988 brochures I have, show the 1x1000 rpm counter.
I cannot believe such detail was that important for the potential 480 owner

Re: Turbos, the very first ones (where are they? - part 2)
Shouldn't the VIN checked at very APK? Weird story
The side skirts are probably replica Hausser, I believed onderdeel-nodig made a few.
The car was once for sale in Northern part of NL. It has a very interesting instrument panel without infocentre. (not the S one!)

Re: Turbos, the very first ones (where are they? - part 2)
Thanks for the nice scans Daniel! I noticed that this car dont have the black trim on the inside sill anymore. There is one US spec which started with SR on the numberplate. And there are two golden 480, the first one is a turbo which have a new dutch plate, the other one is a plain ES which some US...

Re: Turbos, the very first ones (where are they? - part 2)
Well, I think the introduction of the Turbo was in the end of 1987 so I would think that dealers will take orders from that point in time. An a wait list of at least two months doesn''t sound plausible.
Daniel480 might be able to shine another light on these cars.
