The mighty GT....colours??

The GT came in both 2 litre and 1.7 Turbo versions, just as the usual cars. Where they differed wasin the extremely high trim levels- leather seats, aircon, height-adjustable seats, Cd player (?), boot cover etc etc. As far as i know they were a limited run, i heard 250 mentioned somewhere but don't...

The mighty GT....colours??

Seems that every GT i've seen has that same burgandy finish.
Was this the only colour these luxurious beasts came in or were there other colours available? :?

The backlighting i can live with blue OR green, but if the dials are going to be white then i really don't want them; i just don't want that look. Sorry guys. Of course if someone can confirm otherwise on dials i'm there! :D

That sounds sensible.

I'd be up for it at a reasonable price like that mentioned before.

Do think green backlight would be cooler. Ok, no 480 to put it in yet :cryhard: but would be happy to order and put by for the happy day! Just as long as it's not silly money

Re Parkers- Yes the 480 has faults but surely never deserved this ar***ole review! BTW, try the link and see diff. between their "review" and posted owner reviews. Hmmm..... Came to conclusion a while ago about Parker´s being pish after reading their 400 series FaxCheck guide which despite s...

Well thanks for those thoughts. Cheers for the offer Murf, that might be useful. I stay in Mount Florida on the south side, and unfotunately those two ES i mentioned look like they could both do with a bit of TLC! Don´t think i´ve ever been in a turboed car (!) and i do like the sound of the arse...

Hi, new member (and hopefully soon new owner!)

H I E V E R Y O N E !! I joined a little while ago (this is my first post), although i have been lurking here for a while as i have become strangely seduced by the spell of the wonderful (and sometimes it seems, infuriating) Volvo 480. Trouble is, i don´t yet own an example of what has to be...
