Available soon: clear side/front markers/indicators
Hello, I’m currently working on a series of moulds to create white (transparent) side markers (at the rear), side blinkers (just behind the front wheel) and front blinkers (including day running lights). To spread the costs of making this mould, I am willing to make a lot more of these lights so y...

Yes, their crappy. I also own a 480 with the headlight adjusting system, but was never in the situation of seeing it work. Don't try to take the system apart because you will end up with a nasty short cut in you electrical system because of the oil/liquid pouring over the seat warming buttons beneat...

How come you couldn't find the button in the instructions manual? I did find it there when I looked for it. Anyway, it only makes the two pair of long range lights (in the pop ups and the normal light clusters) to go on at the same time. You barely notice a difference on the road, but i like the fac...

You can also replace them by ultrabright leds. I will probably be doing this soon. This way you can also change te colour of the illumination to blue, red etc. Nasty thing is the fact that the gauges are allready a little green, so you'll allways end up with a mixture of green and an other colour. A...

Got excactly the same prob on my 480. Looked like it was just fooling with me. Everytime I would say something stupid about the car it started to fail on the speedo :-P Anyway, checked the connection, putted some contact spray in it and cleaned them. Still no good. Only possibility remaining is a pr...

HEY, Just got myself some daytime running lights on the back of my 480. Looks nice, but....... There's a side effect. When the lights are on there's the light defect controll light that is on the whole time. The system probably doesn't accept the new lights. Does anybody know what to do about this? ...

Hehey, Again a problem wich I recognise. I never had a boost gauge in my car, till last week. I noticed that with the engine off, the boost is 0 (normal atmospheric pressure). When I start the engine, the boost gauge will hit the -1 point and stay there when idling. Only when I'm at full throttle th...

Hi, Next week I will be trying to create a new top cover for my airbox with an integrated direct air filter. This way the only air entering the filter will be the air from beneath the bumper, assuming this air is cold. A soon as I'm finished I will let you know what difference it makes. If not makin...

Hi, You'll need a Valeo starter engine. Best is the 1100 Watt version. I will search for the precise details and post them as soon as I have them. It is, by the way a pretty nasty job, replacing the starter engine on a 480 turbo. Best is to access 2 of the bolts from above (remove the airfilterbox) ...

Removing sidemarker lights at the back
Hi guys, Short question. Can anybody tell me what's the best way of removing the light unit wich is at the back of the car on the side just below the side windows? Want to see if i can put light's in them, but don't want to take half the car of and discover that there's an easy way. Would be nice if...

Guys, Replaced the alternator yesterday, Tommorow, what a peacefull sound. Not a sound, only that of the engine. Looks like it was the pulley indeed. While I had a spare alternator, I thought it was easier replacing the whole thing than just taking the pulley off. It was pretty well attached and cou...

Last week I had time to take a look at the starter engine that broke down. Two of the magnets in the outer scale were detached from the outer scale and were stuck against the inner part. Took some time to take it apart, but the thing is definitely dead, no cure for that. Anyway, the other one I had ...

Guys, Finnaly I can tell you all, the car uses less fuel than before. Not much, but it is noticable. Expecially in the morning when I drive to work, I can notice that with the same driving style, it uses less fuel. So, this 480 driver is becoming more and more happy  By the way, thanks for all...
