HI,
Is this also workable on a ABS braking system?
I'm thinking bout 17 inch wheels, but it would look pitiful with the standard brakdiscs in place

Hello there, I don't think increasing the diameter of the cat will increase power. Just a pipe of the same diameter will probably have the best result (no turbulances). Only benefit of a larger diameter pipe will be the downpipe just after the turbo, because the gasses will be able to expand there. ...

Welcome to the club :), now I'm not the newest member anymore  I recently posted something about my front wipers fibrating. I don't know what kind of sound you are hearing but in my case it was the front wiper (drivers side) that is fibrrrrrrrrrrating due to the wind. Took me some time to figu...

Thanks for the ET :D Decatting is worth the effort. Makes the car a lot smoother to drive. Done it 3 months ago, and still no regrets :). Next project conserning the exhaust will be a dual exhaust (2x 2 endpipes :) ) Together with that the rearbumper will get a diffuser out of aluminium. It will tak...

Fibrating wipers
Hi guys, I know it sounds silly, but when driving faster than 80 km per hour, my left window wiper starts to fibrate. Allready checked if there weren't any toys left from the previous owner, but that's not the case. Don't know if it's a common problem on 480's. I checked the arm that's holdin...

Hey, Don't know how it is on a 2 liter, but with my turbo it was a test plug that was attached who made the engine run bad when cold. If the 2 liter had such a plug it should be between the engine and the radiator. It's a small bulletilke plug. The wires are both coming from the same larger cable. O...

Indeed it is a hell of a job. Expaccially on a turbo. But you need flexible arms anyway  Mine broke down in a really short time. Made one weird sound, and the next time, I was sitting in the car with a friend of mine and I said to him "listen to the sound of the starter engine, I don't think it...

If above doesn't work, you can also check the doorsensor. Mine was broken, so the light only came on when the passenger door was open. You can check by starting the car and opening the door. When the door warning light comes on, the doorsensor is ok, if not, then it's broken. Replacing is done by re...

That looks seriously good!!! :hopping: This is the moment that I made the decision to go for 17" too. By the way, Ted, Wich ET-value do the rims have? Did you encounter any problems with the wheels touching the chassis? They seem to fit very nicely in the wheel arches!! And would you be so kind to p...

What ECU would fit instead of a red label one?
Guys, Thinking about sending my ECU to Richard Pruen, but I need a spare ECU. It should replace my red label ECU. Allready tried the purple one from my other 480 (1987 testmodel from volvo), but that one doesn't work at all. Does anyone know whic ECU will work other than the red one (wich is pretty ...

Dont start on dismanteling the units  . In my case I had to keep the transparant part in one piece in order to make a negative of it. I managed to do it. Allmost cost me a fingertip :? and about 4 hours of cutting and grinding, but it worked. With the help of a friend I will be able to restore...
