Wow, That's quite an ammount of money just for resetting the alarm. I bet they don''t need that much time doing it. I'll search for a way of doing it myself. It can't be that the car has to go to the garage everytime the battery is disconnected. That way I will keep running to the local garage :wink...

At last, the car keeps surprising me

Actually I have yes. I did a self diagnostic. The girl nextdoor was looking very weird when seeing me next to the car, while the car was perfomring tricks like, windows up and down, wipers going all the way, horn, signal lights flickering. About the temperatures. I just replaced the radiator and it now does 75ºC during driving and a max of 82 when idling at the lights. Oil temperature doesn't go beyond 102ºC. I thought that to be quite high allready, is 108ºC normal?

Well, it did flicker when one of the doorsensors was broken, so I don't think the theorie is complete right.
