Wow, That's quite an ammount of money just for resetting the alarm. I bet they don''t need that much time doing it. I'll search for a way of doing it myself. It can't be that the car has to go to the garage everytime the battery is disconnected. That way I will keep running to the local garage :wink...

Hi, It can't be that the wipers are old, I just replaced them and still there's this resonating sound. Maybe it's worth to check the strip holding the washers, but the thing is that I can actually see the wiper fibrating on the screen. Have had the "spoiler" on them too, but didn't make any differen...

I have been thinking bout it too. Currently I have placed my own personal logo on the grill, while the volvo logo was taken off by some sort of stupid person not willing to buy his own logo at the volvo dealer. Anyway, since then I left it this way. Maybe, somewhere in the future I will be creating ...

Actually I have yes. I did a self diagnostic. The girl nextdoor was looking very weird when seeing me next to the car, while the car was perfomring tricks like, windows up and down, wipers going all the way, horn, signal lights flickering. AFter explaining everyting was okay, but I had some fun seei...

Definitely let the car run. It's not happy staying in a garage. My own car stood for about 4 months before me buying it, and it took some time for the car to get in shape again. Sounds silly, but I can defintely feel that the car is alot smoother now. Allthough, she is still moody sometimes, I start...

Rich Mod is a modifaction done to the ECU. It's an advanced way of chiptuning, done by Richard Pruen. He is a known member here on the forum. It will give you about 160 to 170 HP. Using the search button and typing Richmod, wil definitely give you enough results. Want to have mine done, but still se...

Well, I didn't encounter that many problems removing the nose cone. But it's kinda not logical how it goes. You have to remove the light clusters before removing the cone. Removing the bumper, wich apairantly had some damages left from the previous owner, was more of a hassle. When you more often en...

Frequency of the alarm light?
Guys,
Is it normal that the little light in the dash wich indicates that the alarm is armed, flickers with a high frequency?
Compared to my fathers V70 it's quite quick.
Well, was just curious about it.

Great job replacing aint it? Did it last week, cost me about 8 hours of work. (3 hours dismanteling it from an old turbocar). Experienced by the way that you can use both the old as well as the new type radiator. The differnece is in the ventilation, but that's solvable. Good to see the problems sol...

Don't know if it is interesting to get one from Holland, but there are quite a few 480 2 liters for sale here. Main reason must be that the car was built here. You can search on www. marktplaats.nl, www.speurders.nl, www.autotrader.nl Combining it with a holliday here may be a good idea  480 i...

What I know, the 1.7 turbo is more a porsche engine than a renault. They used the basis of the 1.7 renault engine and together with porsche it was developed further. It also has more advanced control systems. That's something Richard Pruen knows a lot about  Too bad they still underpowered th...

Wow, Didn't expect this topic to get so technical complicated :) I'll just go for a blue or red one, no matter what is possible.
