Hi Martin

If you don't want the offical Volvo one, i know that Thule do a roof rack and two mod packs that make it all fir the 480. It comes to about £120 sterling. Hope you find what you want.

We are closer to the equator down here in Devon, therefore the car weighs proportionally more than a car from 'the north' might Sorry mate, but due to the ellipsoid shape of the earth, the poles are closer to the core than the equator, and therefore gravity is strongest the further north you go, so...

Re: Im gonna scour the gay car scene!

I'm still confused, i did read it again, without skipping bits but..... Hey! Im going to make an effort this week to scour the gay car club scene. This is to make more gay folk around the globeus aware that we too exist! Im sure some of these people will be perfectly happy in their own clubs.BUT,if ...

Don't forget that this is a HEAVY car for its size, mainly due to the giant steel safety bars in the roof and doors etc. If i could choose again, I would have the Turbus. HEAVY? What planet are you on boy!! They're made out of foil, and weigh only a fraction over a tonne. A corsa weighs more!...

All 480's are DIRT cheap to insure because boy racer's dont drive/steal them. There will be little/no difference in insurance price from 1.7 to 2.0 and prob £40/50 extra P.A. for the turbo. I pay £350 a year for my 2.oi TPFT (tesco's) The 2.0i is JUST powerfull enough. Its not properly fast - its ...

No not really, you would have to remove the whole front inside of the car back to the bulkhead to fit the tubing, the whole nosecone to fit the extra radiatior, weld a braket to your engine for the thing that drives the compressor, then fit the control panels for it. My Garage said its at least eigh...

It sounds like its had a hard life. And its too much money. Find a cherised one owned by an older gent or Lady that's been garaged for much less money.

Good luck
