Volvo 480 Club Europe

I'm seriousley considering a de-cat but I like the fact that I can do 100mph and still be able to listen to the stereo (not that I would do that sort of speed!) how much louder is it? I would'nt mind a bit of extra growl but when I put a de-cat on my old 106 rallye it was soooooooo loud. any advice...

Buying a proper newer car thats not a 480 also fixes this issue.

Hmm it sounds tricky, check the earth points? It could be rust. What would cause it to die after getting warm (i guess thats why it dies)? or perhaps its jiggling?
