Don't blame you mate, i'd want to check aswell, thought you had a 480 turbo....buy a cheap multimeter and compare them!

It says the alfa 75 has the same values, and the alfa 33 you have too?..... go on be a devil, swap them and see!

.....i had to check, but belive it or not....yep you've guessed it, a saab 9000 2 litre turbo (disributor ignition) 86-89 also shows the same coil resistance, would you belive it!!

as does an old 87-89 ford sierra 2.0 (not cosworth), i bet there are a few ford ones that have the same values.

Ford escort cosworth shows 3 different types of ignition, distibuterless, direct ignition and distributor ignition, the distributor ignition shows the same value resistance as our volvo coils, i'l have a look for some more when i have more time mate.

As you can imagine, being a renault/b18ft hybrid owner, i'm all for them being broke, ..........but that sounds in better condition than some on ebay, go on someone buy it (i'f he'll sell as complete car) and get it back on the road!

Thanks for that info. Do you also have the resistance of the secondary windings, just in case I need them?

Autodata says, secondary winding resistance is...... 4000-15000 ohms approx

coil primary windings are 0.45-0.82 ohms approx. renault 1721 distributor cap and rotor arm thermostat (1721) some engine gaskets, i.e sump, water pump, inlet and exhaust manifold, rocker cover. my mate with a 480 turbo looked at my green stuff pads and said they where the same as his, so chances ar...

If the water in the block freezes, the core plugs are designed to give, to stop the ice cracking the block when it expands.

Any motor factors, halfrauds, renault.

Try looking up your engine size in the renault part of the halfrauds book, or go to your local motor factors, they will defo have one.
