Sorry I've not got back to you. I must admit I've no idea what a manifold is worth, and thinking about it it'd be wuite expensive to send out I'd have thought. maybe better give it a miss (unless you've already got it for me, in which case let me know how much.)

I need an exhaust manifold, though I'm not sure if the standard 2.0 and the GT had the same type. Jayne's GT has got a tubular steel one, so if the ES has the same I'd be interested in that.

2.0 exhaust manifold

Are all 2.0 exhaust manifolds the same? The one on Jayne's GT is a tubular steel jobbie, is this the same on the ES and celebs? (and maybe 440/460)? Jayne's is blowing, and it's been welded once, so i think it's time to get a replacement.

Well, ever since Jayne got her Flame Red one I've fancied the idea of getting a green one for the set! It's a real pity I can't justify having so many cars, and the GT loses the battle of which stays. If I did less miles then the Xantia would go and the GT would be my daily drive, but I can't afford...

I have to admit the green GT is for sale, although I won't cry if it doesn't sell, I'm really enjoying having it as a daily drive at the moment. The green one has been lowered, and yes it does have red side markers. I tried to persuade Jayne to keep the green one and sell the red, but she loves the ...

SOLD - 480GT in Green was £700 now only £600

I've decided to sell my newly aquired 480GT in green. I bought it thinking I'd sell one of my Mantas to make room, but truth be told I can't bear to part with the Opel so the GT has to go. The car is tested until early October, and taxed until the end of October. It has been lowered, and has a stain...

It's on the front of the block, on the left hand side. if your car hasn't currently got the guages, you'll only have the standard oil pressure sender, so you'll need a twin outlet one otherwise your guage will read full all the time the ignition is on.

I've sorted out the Gt's idling problem, after several fruitless attempts. Also adjusted the clutch as it was biting a bit low.

Got to love this forum. I've been having all sorts of idle problems with the Gt since getting it back from the engine swap. Been hunting through here for anything that might be the cure, and found this post. Sure enough, checked my connectors and they were the wrong way round! The car now seems to b...

Hope someone gives it a home. I would have had it when it was offered, but assumed that as I didn't get a reply I'd been beaten to it, so sorted something else out.

I think with the Celebs it's obvious to anyone it's a ltd edition, whereas with the GT you need to be in the know. I like both cars, I think the Celeb leather is better (none more black), but prefer the Vesa alloys.

I think this is rather like the film of the last day of production of the Opel Manta. You see the cars being dipped, but we've decided they're actually being dipped in a salt bath!

Hi Sammy, no I wasn't in a 480, just about to get into a Xantia estate on Carholme road, you were heading towards town. Saw you again on Sunday afternoon on the roundabout by McDonalds and the flyover. Still in the Xantia though...
