Hi is a pneumatic system either you're mistaken or there are two kinds of systems. All that I know of are hydraulic. Ps . i have never seen them on a uk car so i dont know if they did them. In germany every car after 1990 must have it, and as telegraphroad stated they're broken on most 480s, a PITA...

on those with CEM III this should still work when you floor the pedal (together with switching off AC and rear demist while accelerating at full throttle) the older ones needet a spezial gas-cable for this to work which isn't produced anymore ( it had a switch which closed when on full throttle) hauke

don't believe these parts can be interchanged between normal ;) cars and cars with rhd, cause the dash is mirrored.
