Have you ever driven an S?deviliShred480 wrote:And why not?
I'd rather take my old D reg Renault 21 round the track! As much as I love my 480, I can understand the need for a turbocharger... driving an S is a mix of fantastic road handling (but fwd) with uninspiring performance.... there's no kick to it!

Is there a Renault engine in the 2ltr 480
Is the 2ltr in the 480 a Renault engine like the 1.7? I used to have a Renault 21 2ltr that used to go like stink (funny really, cos it looked like sh*t) and would have thought that engine in a 480 would be awesome, but the bhp looks a bit weedy (even the renault managed to get 121bhp out of it).

Exhaust Manifold
My exhaust manifold has seen better days and will need replacing in the not to distant future. Is this a generic part for all 1721cc engines or is there a difference between the engines? Mine is the EP engine, I'm looking at buying a manifold for an E engine... will it fit ok?

Caution: Hangers
Saw a pair of "rare" seatbelt hangers go on ebay the other day for 31 quid... both mine are less than perfect and need replacing, I was worried about the price they went for on ebay, and the fact that they were "rare" didn't give me much hope for being able to buy a new set. Anyway, I'm picking up a...

Leak in Driver's Side Footwells
Just when I thought I was getting on top of things up springs a leak! :badmood: I have had experience with this sort of thing before, but I'dthought I'd mention this, because I'm sure a few of you will have come across this one. The footwells on the drivers side are saturated. I suspect it's a burst...

Info centre
I only have an S... so I don't get the luxury of an info centre in my car. I hope to upgrade to a turbo in a year or so, but just wondered, do you get a lot of gliches on the info centre, or is it as sweet as it sounds?

stop gap
Just bought them on e-bay for a song, it's a stop-gap until I can get my hands on a nice set of Volvo 15" that I like.
