Re: Puzzling starting problems - 480T 88
Captain slow - OK, then I understand what you meant, thank you! Any clue to how the fuel pressure is controlled? 480-rocket - would that necessarily result in wet spark plugs? I´ve checked them, and the plugs were not wet. If they are leaking - is that fixable? Thanks again for the input! by the way...

Re: Puzzling starting problems - 480T 88
Thanks for the input! Do you think the fuel pump/pressure can malfunction during such specific conditions? Can the fuel "disappear" and than "reappear" to the injectors during resting? Have never dealt with the fuel system, so have no clue have it works.. The car works fine when it is running, even ...

Puzzling starting problems - 480T 88
Ever since I bought my 480T (1988) two years ago there has been a strange starting problem. After a full night of resting, the car starts directly without hesitation. It also starts instantly when it has just been running and restarts after a short stop. But in between, it is much harder to start. W...

Re: CR-402I: which brand? cassette belt replacement?
OK, I did not know about the adapter tricks, thank you! The only thing I had heard is that there are two screws on the radio that adjust the position of the reading head.
I will start my search for a replacement belt!
Thanks again!

Re: CR-402I: which brand? cassette belt replacement?
Hi, thank you! Then I know it is at least possible to find a replacement, just have to find a suitable shop then. It is actually CR-402I (can´t upload an image on it), but it looks exactly like yours except the number. Perhaps just different regional versions of the same radio. By the way, is your C...

CR-402I: which brand? cassette belt replacement?

Oil plug article number?
Anyone that have the article number of the oil plug and gasket one removes when draining oil from the gearbox? I have a 480T 88, manual shift, M59 i think. I got the wrong plug from Volvo, they did not find the right one in the parts book, and I can´t find it in the book either. I want to be sure t...
