Re: Rear light seals

I read somewhere that someone is selling rear light seals but can’t seem to find the link.

Does anyone have it please?

Thanks in advance

Re: Power Steering Hoses

Just read this again and maybe I've misunderstood something. I thought the 10mm thread was to go directlu into the rack. Now I'm wondering the the rack has permanent 10mm steel pipes which I will need to use a compression joint to join onto the hose, hence a 3/8 hose end to a 3/8-10mm thread adapter...

Re: Power Steering Hoses

Hi Alan Really appreciate your help on this. I've never thought of a custom hose and never been to the megastore. I found it fascinating! I spent about an hour on it tonight but not quite sure exactly what I need yet. I'm at home with copper plumbing fittings but these are new to me, and as the car ...

Re: Power Steering Hoses

Hi Alan Really appreciate your advice on this. I’ll have a look on the hydraulic superstore. On mine, the metal pipe is corroded as it goes into the top of the pump. Not sure of the thread but the fitting is 17mm AF. I assume this is the pressure line as the other one is rubber hose with a crimp. Di...

Power Steering Hoses

Afternoon all, My Daily driver is a UK 1992 1.7L Non-Turbo Limited Edition. My power steering started groaning and I found the reservoir was low. I've topped it up but the root cause is a worn power steering pump. I removed the alternator and managed to get the high pressure union loose (pig of a jo...

Exhaust parts suppliers

Evening all My 1.7L 1992 ES needs a new exhaust. I can get a 2.0L centre pipe and back box easily, but finding the 1.7 parts much harder to get. I’ve bought a 2.0 centre and back and will try to make a new joint ti fit after the cat. They take the same route but have different joints and diameters I...

Re: Help! Daily driver just snapped clutch cable

Hi David, Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I’ve been sitting here emailing lots of custom cable companies. Now getting too cold to type!!! This car is a 1.7L 1992. My other car is a 2.0L 1993, and that’s the cable I borrowed for this car last autumn then the first one snapped. They appeared to be the s...

Help! Daily driver just snapped clutch cable

Evening everyone. I’ve just snapped my clutch cable on my way home from work, so I’ll be sitting here in my 480 for the next few hours waiting for the breakdown truck to tow me home. It’s a RHD UK car and last time I ordered one I was sent the much shorter LHD one that doesn’t fit. I use this car da...
