Re: The Wolf roams
One other thing is the long range lights, they only work on high beam with the popup headlights down, they don't work in any other setting not even with the switch near the heated seat switch, oh well at least I've got my headlights back πππππ Thatβs a symptom that some contacts have died in the fl...

Re: The Wolf roams
Today was the day I decided to change the bulbs that I hoped had blown, passenger side headlight and drivers side DRL... Taking off the drivers side cluster was easy enough, one of the filaments had blown so I replaced the bulb but banged it when I was placing it back in blowing the filament π I had...

Re: The Wolf roams
Soooo, I decided to have another go at removing the vem today, stripped all the dash and got as far as removing the clip and wire on top of the unit and managed to wriggle it out, I could see two plugs then about 5 wires in a plastic sleeve also connected to the unit, I couldn't see how to remove th...

Re: The Wolf roams
Thankyou for the reply, I will have a look as I didn't see any more screws to undo, does it prise off or are there screws... I stupidly undid the screws from the mounting frame and managed to wriggle the vem half out the frame..

Re: The Wolf roams
Greetings all.... Can anybody please link the 'how to' on getting the vem out as I've forgotten where it is, I've just stripped my dash and I thought it would be just two screws then it would pull out, no chance.. I've also ordered some headlight bulbs as my passenger side one is very dim, it doesn'...

Re: The Wolf roams
Greetings all.... The wolf has been SORN for a few months for various reasons but will be back on the road next month.. I need to purchase a new heater controller as mine works on and off and I believe it needs soldering, that what I'm no good at... It's the Aircon one with the buttons, if I push it...

Re: AWD conversion
Absolutely no need to convert it to 4wd in my opinion, I'm no expert but the amount of grip these cars have is immense, the problem I think people have is they don't drive them hard enough, these cars are in a class of their own and even though they are fwd a good Scandinavian flick really tightens ...

Im going to try and tag on for a few roads at some point, maybe through the peak District, soooo, if you see a white turbo, driving contrary to the highway code, with rusty arches it could be me π Fingers crossed you make it - will be nice to meet you ! Yes definitely, fingers crossed, it will be g...

Re: Northampton-Derbys-Yorks Meet 25-26th Sept 21
(the good news: PostNL now hands the parcels over to Royal Mail!) Very good news. The last βpartnersβ were appalling! I can remember a few years ago I sent an ECU to be modified by Robou, I put the correct address on the parcel and it ended up in Canada for about 2 months π Robou finally got it and...

Re: The Wolf roams
Greetings all..... I've had a fiddle with the car today and found a few interesting things... I tried the code reader, and amazingly it worked, it only has socket 3 & 5 A few codes were found on socket 3, code 4-4-4 seemed to pop up, no power to the hydraulic valves on the abs unit?? I've just remem...

I also need to buy 4 bolts for the wheels..
I had the car inspected underneath and it's solid, it's just the arches that need sorting and the edges around the windowscreen.. Off side front wing as well will need taking off along when the engine comes out..
Fun, fun, fun
To be continued...

Re: The Wolf roams
I had the tyres fitted and the alingment sorted out and I must say it drives like new... The roll bar needs attention but the engine mounts seem fine, even changing gear there is no feeling of movement from the engine... I purchased a multimeter as I wanted to check the MAF as I hadn't read the valu...
