Re: Interior light/Ariel not working
Put a new bulb bulb in the trunk and try to play with the light panel on the roof. With knobs there you may enable/disable interior lighting.

dead tacho - no signal?
Hi, last thing that has to be sorted out is dead tacho. Everything else works just fine, i checked it on 2 different instrument clusters and no rpms. Therefore, i suppose that no signal is being sent. But that's everything what i was able to deduct. Any ideas where to start?

Hi CaptainSnow, To the existing sensor orange wire is now connected. On the same loom but ca.10 cm above I found a yellow one unused/ free ie. with no connector or whatsoever. Could it be the one i' m looking for? My second question: will i loose oil from the engine when changing sensors ( sensor is...

Re: upgrading a celibration to turbo brakes?
I,ve recently paid ca 70eur for rear ate discs and pads and I don' t know if its a lot or not but if you have access to a replacement set from turbo than in the end why not. I would just recommend to stay away from low-end products and discount brands especially when it goes about safety.

Re: Split and moved topic 480S 2.0 superwhite
Sure Glasgowjim, thanks Capt. Slow. I sourced the sensor with an adapter from old turbo today. It took me two hours with different tools to demolish engine bay (incl. removing alternator:)) to figure out that it was enough to unscrew the whole thing by hand.

Re: Intermittent ABS warning
If only ABS light goes on it sounds like electrical problem. If you break gently and you feel ABS working on the pedal anyway, clean calipers and hub. Check connections in the ABS plugs in the trunk.

Re: upgrading a celibration to turbo brakes?
In my opinion it makes little sense to swap standard into vent. set from turbo. 480 is not a monster. Old school, good quality ATEs are more than enough, and are definitely much better that Chinese vent. discs from eBay.

Re: 480S 2.0 superwhite
Today I thought I found an adaptor but google said that BOSCH 0261231006 is a knock sensor:( The deal about the 4pin plug and 6pin socket is clear to me. My question are following: - Is it the same, standard plug for 1- and 2- wire type sensor in the engine bay or do I need to wire this this by myse...

Re: 480S 2.0 superwhite
Thanks. I went through all post about oil pressure gauge. What I need now is to browse a big box of all sorts of little pieces of 3 other v480s I managed to strip in the meantime. If no sensor is found, than I will be looking for a spare unit. Do you know by a chance if for 2.0 from 1994 I'd need a ...
