These pictures surely make my mouth water. I want to go outside and respray mine :(
Of course, I don't have the time, money, or spare car to use while I do it (Hell, or the know-how, heh)

I love the crushed redbull can on the floor. An indication of how much you're working on this? :D

£90?
That sounds rather cheap for a cambelt... I thought they were usually £200 jobbies

Aye it's all slotted in perfect and the seats can't go back any further :) A question about the speaker wires: I've got an '89 ES and there are no rear speakers in it right now... Am I right in thinking the wires for them are located underneath the 'magazine holders' at the sides of the rear seats? ...

Yet another tray

Yup, I was enjoying the posts similar to this one too much to let it slide, so I found a nice big chunk of wood in the garage, and set about making it... http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2964/0001lq7.th.jpg I got a couple of the measurements just out, but nothing too drastic, as you can see :) I'v...

It's funny, I'd always considered the whole "Males giving female names" to be true, but my Clio was male (Though I never gave him a name) I bought the car off a woman, who told me the car was male. I decided "Hmm... maybe it'll be female for me" - took it for a drive and "Woah, it really is male... ...

"Professional" shot

I was just browsing around at other volvos, and came across this picture: http://s2.desktopmachine.com/pics/volvo-262coupe01-1024.jpg And then I noticed something in the back seat... I can just imagine big volvo executives having the same reaction as me "What the fuck is that?! - oh... it's a dog" E...

Hey awesome, you're in Derby
Finally, a 480 owner that's close to me!

I'm getting fed up of miserable 480 owners that don't flash back ;)

Oil Temp?

Howdy doody, party people. I just drove to Alton Towers and back for the day. I live fairly close so it was straight down the A38 then A50, so I was doing 70 for most of the trip. What I noticed was that my oil temperature was up to a high of 206F, which had me a little concerned? It's stuck on Fahr...

Cheers guys, worked :D

And it's not the bonnet strut that's broke, it's the boot one :D
Fortunately, it sloooowly came down so I didn't receive a concussion, just a mild "wtf?!"

Opening Bonnet...

OK, Really REALLY stupid question, but I'm just baffled This is one of those things that the Haynes book takes for granted (that we're not completely inept), so I shall ask here. How in the hell do I open the bonnet? I must have pulled every goddamn lever in the car, and it still won't open :/ Cheers.

even a phone call asking advice in case you needed to claim, can affect your NCB. It's stupid and unfair, but that's how it is. Aye, my mum said I should ring 'em up and tell them I've been in the shunt I laughed at her. ;) I'm just laying low and if anything comes of it then I'll deal with it, but...

I was close to the car infront, and probably wouldn't have hit it if I'd not seen the clio coming up behind me. I'd edged forward slightly to try and keep it in, but it didn't work :P

And as for claiming - when the car's been bought for £75, they'd probably declare a cracked numberplate a write-off

First accident, Success!

I was just in a shunt this morning, it was pretty funny Was listening to my music, singing along, and noticed the car infront had stopped rather abruptly. So I did too. The lady behing me /tried/ to, but locked the breaks and slammed into my rear. I'd seen her coming and had creeped forward slightly...
